Guidelines for Life Membership

Applicants must follow the instructions given below to avoid the rejection of their application.

  1. Fill the form yourself Only Once (multiple applications will lead to rejection of all applications and forfeiture of membership fee).
  2. Mention the Annual Membership Number (AM-……) assigned to you in the last session you attended.
  3. Minimum Requirements to become a Life Member
  • You must be an existing member of the Indian History Congress.
  • You must have completed Master’s degree or above.
  • You must have paid Annual Membership fee for the last three sessions of the Indian History Congress (either 1 year as Initial Member + 2 years as Renewal Member or 3 years as Renewal Member)
  1. Documents Required for Life Membership (Upload in a single PDF)
  • Annual membership receipts/certificates/documents issued to you in the last three sessions of the Indian History Congress.
  • Master’s degree/transcript or above
  1. Your application for Life Membership will be successful after you pay the Life Membership Fee at the end of the form.

Note: After the submission of your application, the Secretary’s office will review your application before issuing you the Life Membership Receipt. You are advised to ensure that the provided details and documents are correct. If any discrepancy is found during/after the review process, your application will be rejected and membership fee will be forfeited.
