If you do not hold a Master's degree in History or Archaeology, it is imperative to provide one of the following:

1. A publication on a historical theme in a peer-reviewed journal (with complete references).

2. Publication of a book on a historical theme (with complete references).

2. A bona-fide certificate verifying your MPhil/Ph.D. in an allied field (for both pursuing and awarded).

Note: The Secretary is authorised to reject an application if none of the above criteria is met, or for any other reason, provided that an appeal for review of the decision may be made by the applicant to the Executive Committee, which may consider it either at its next meeting or by correspondence.
