Professor Abha Singh is a Professor of History in the School of Social Sciences at IGNOU. Specialising in Medieval Indian History, she has received multiple international fellowships, including the Charles Wallace Fellowship from SOAS, London, in 1995 and 2003, a Commonwealth Fellowship from SOAS, London, in 2000, and Study Grants to collect materials at the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, France, awarded by Maison Des Sciences De L’Homme, Paris, in 1995 and 2000.
