Professor Marxia Gandhi retired from the Department of Archaeology (Tamil Nadu) as Deputy Superintending Archaeologist. Throughout her career, she authored multiple monographs and co-authored books in the Tamil language. Additionally, she served as a member of the editorial board of South Indian Inscriptions, published by the Archaeological Survey of India.
